Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS) is a Non profit organization based in India which is the largest artificial limb fitter in the world, widely known as Jaipur Foot. BMVSS develops and donates artificial limbs to people for a cost of 30 $ per limb/caliper. Helped over 8,00,000 disabled persons since it's inception 31 years ago.

Siriraj General Hospital is the oldest, largest hospital, and medical school in Thailand. The hospital was founded by King Chulalongkorn in 1888, two years after a worldwide cholera outbreak. The medical school was established two years later in 1890. It is now the Faculty of Medicine of Mahidol University.   Under the patronage of Prince Mahidol Adulyadej and support from the Rockefeller Foundation, Siriraj became one of the most advanced medical services and research centers in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

The Foundation for the Welfare for The Crippled in Thailand is a non profit organization established in 1954.  The Foundation was originally set up to support the young victims of a polio outbreak which swept Thailand in the early 50's.  The Foundations efforts today are principally concentrated on helping children suffering from cerebral palsy, spinal bifida and congenital deformities, which perhaps present a greater challenge to both sufferers, care givers and the families involved.

The Foundation for a Smokefree America was founded in 1989 by Patrick Reynolds, a grandson of the founder of the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. A former pack-a-day smoker, Patrick saw his father, oldest brother and other relatives die from cigarette-induced emphysema, heart disease and cancer.  Patrick Reynolds' name, his story and his dedication to improving the health of present and future generations make him a unique and powerful spokesman against smoking.
